Raising Global Citizens at Home – online summit

You might have noticed the button on the right side of my page promoting this week’s virtual summit. If not, don’t worry, I ‘m here to tell you all about it!

The Raising Global Citizens at Home Online Summit is a week-long online event organized by the beautiful brains behind Multicultural Kid Blogs.

The line up looks pretty relevant for any family looking to cultivate a heart for the world. Authors, educators, parents, linguists from around the globe will be presenting new ideas from their respective areas of expertise.

The best part? You can participate from anywhere on the planet, AND it’s all free.

Here’s a look at the agenda for the next seven days:

April 11: Why is it important to raise global citizens?
April 12: How TRAVEL supports global citizenship
April 13: How FOOD connects us in a global society
April 14: How ARTS & CRAFTS promote global citizens
April 15: How PLAY encourages global citizenship
April 16 : The use of MEDIA, APPS and BOOKS in raising global citizens
April 17: The role of LANGUAGE in raising global citizens

All you need to do is to register here, and the talks and links and e-book will be sent right to your email. Oh and ehem, Third Culture Mama may or may not feature in the resource list. 🙂

Let me know if you plan to take part and if so, how it inspired you!

PS: I wasn’t paid to write this, I just thought it was too cool of an idea not to share with you here!
